On a tuned GTR one of the limiting factors of getting above 600bhp is the diameter of the stock airfilter pipework which won't allow higher power. The Forge Nissan R35 GTR intake uses much larger (80mm) than the stock pipework for massively improved flow and higher horsepower potential. The Pipercross filters allow unrestricted airflow from the front of the car. As a result of this improved flow, however, the GTR ECU must be remapped to take into account this extra airflow potential. Forge recommends the use of either the Cobb Accessport or EcuTek solutions, both of which will allow your GTR to reach its power goal.
This intake kit WILL fit any car fitted with the pop-up bonnet safety device.

These valves are a direct replacement for the (OEM) original valves. They offer significantly higher flow rate capability, where other valves are just not up to it. This is achieved by utilising an amazing 50mm (2") bore. For fine tuning there is a variable spring preload incorporated and a ratchet type top adjuster that will allow for the positive and precise adjustment .
This valve incorporates a unique conical, progressive rate spring that can allow for the retention of boost pressure up to 34 PSI. To ease installation there is a 360 degree adjustable vacuum hose connector .

This replacement aluminium header tank fits in the stock location and uses all the stock bolt, hoses and stock radiator cap.
It also adds 2 litres of extra coolant capacity inside the natural fill level of the engine i.e. you don’t have to overfill it to take advantage of the extra capacity. It features a sight glass on the side to check the coolant levels, and is internally baffled to stop the coolant moving about excessively during cornering, but also to reinforce the tank so that you can use the uprated 1.8bar SpecV radiator cap (available from your GTR dealer).

This front mounting intercooler has been designed as a genuine upgrade for the Nissan GTR R35 models. After considerable trials at Forge HQ they found that the most efficient core was of tube and fin design, and along with an overall increase in dimensions they have been able to improve the cooling ability and reduce the pressure loss across when compared to stock intercoolers.
The intercooler is more than twice the size of the stock intercoolersand testing was conducted on software tuned vehicles, to ensure that they would be working their hardest and the results showed both a reduction in inlet temperature, an increase in horsepower and torque but with no detrimental effect on turbo spool-up.
The GTR kit is supplied complete with all parts required, including mandrel bent 70mm pipework to both throttle bodies, silicone hoses, all clips, bolts, and nuts together with comprehensive colour instructions.
Please note that a Nissan throttle body optimisation is recommended PRIOR to installation, and that POST installation the car should be mapped with either the Cobb Accessport or EcuTek software which are pre-programmed with a setting for the Forge intercooler. Contact your Cobb or EcuTek vendor for more information.
