Some body kits are intended for off-road or show or race use only and may require modifying or removing original factory bumper reinforcements. Please ensure all parts are undamaged and always trial fit before painting to ensure goods fit. Once parts have been fitted, painted or modified we cannot accept any returns for exchange or credit

3.2. GENERAL FITTING PARTS - It is recommended that fitting of parts is carried out by Revolution or is carried out by a competent mechanic, preferably with experience in fitting similar parts - specialised tools may be required. Fitting procedures and tightening torque's should always be carried out as recommended by the manufacturer.

3.3 SUSPENSION - To ensure the best performance from new suspension components it is essential that all rubber bushes, bump stops & steering joints are examined and replaced as necessary. CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN NOT TO DAMAGE SHOCK ABSORBER PISTON RODS WHEN FITTING. This is the most common cause of leaking shock absorbers, and resulting failure is not covered by warranty. After fitting suspension components it is recommended that a full geometry check is carried out and any adjustments made immediately. If fitting lowered suspension, before you drive the car you must check that the wheel and tyre does not come into contact with bodywork. If non standard wheels or tyres are fitted, modifications to the bodywork may be required.

3.4 EXHAUSTS - Before commencing fitting - the new exhaust must be laid out on the floor next to the car to check that the shape, length, type and place of fittings matches that of the original. When fitting a new exhaust it is recommended that all mountings, clamps and gaskets are renewed. When fitting the clearance between the exhaust and any body kits or bumpers should be checked and adjusted so as not to cause damage when the exhausts heats up. The clearance should also be checked when hot and readjusted if necessary.

3.5 BRAKES & CLUTCHES - When fitting new brake components it is essential that all mating surfaces should be spotlessly clean and free from dirt or dust. When the discs are fitted it is recommended that run out is checked to ensure correct operation. Calipers should also be cleaned and operation checked. If the components you are replacing show uneven or incorrect wear or you have experienced judder or overheating, the cause of the problem must be corrected. If not the new components will be damaged and the warranty will be void. On certain vehicles brake systems, the manufactures design may make them prone to “brake judder” even though the disc run out is within the manufacturers own tolerance. In such circumstances, warranty claims against such “design” problems will not be considered.

3.6 WHEELS & TYRES - Wheels will not be accepted for return under any circumstances if tyres have been fitted or if any damage has not been notified immediately upon receipt of goods. Before Mounting Tyres, please adhere to the following procedure:- A) Fix wheel to both front & rear hubs to check for correct fitment. In particular, check for clearance with brake calipers, suspension/components/bodywork. B) Check that the back face of the wheel fits flush against the mounting face of the hub. If the hub has any protrusions that prevent this, consult Revolution. C) Check that there is the correct amount of thread engagement between the mounting nuts/bolts and the hub (M12x1.5 thread minimum 6 full turns, M12 x1.25 thread minimum 9 full turns).
Safety - Wheel nuts & bolts must be torqued in accordance with manufacturers recommendations for alloy wheels & must be checked & re-torqued 30 miles after fitting. Revolution do not recommend the use of air tools when fitting wheels. Tyre pressures must be checked weekly. Care of your Alloys - Alloy wheels are painted & lacquered to achieve a first class appearance, to keep your wheels looking new, we recommend regular cleaning with a sponge & warm soapy water. Occasional use of a proprietary car wax will help further protect your investment. Alloy wheels with a polished rim or chrome style finish have a 1 month warranty on edge only. Any manufacturers warranty will be void if any damage has occurred to the wheel including curbing, stone chips etc.
